3rd Annual Davis & Towle Insurance Group Drive for the Sky Golf Tournament
This tournament is more than just a day on the green—it’s one of the most important fundraising opportunities of the year for the non-profit McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center. For generations of K-12 students, particularly those in underserved communities, the Discovery Center and our Christa McAuliffe Planetarium have been filling critical STEM learning gaps. Through interactive field trips, engaging exhibits, and awe-inspiring planetarium shows like “The Little Star that Could” and “Asteroid – Mission Extreme”, students experience science in ways that spark curiosity and fuel ambition.

Moon Base Alpha Day Camp
In Moon Base Alpha – A Cooperative Mission to the Moon, students ages 8–11 will step into the role of future space explorers as they work together to design a future mission to the Moon.
Our young astronauts-in-training will split into four mission teams—Launch Team, Habitat Team, Exploration Team, and Mission Headquarters—each in charge of some element of the future moon mission. From testing launch solutions to figuring out how astronauts will eat, sleep, and work on the Moon, every team plays a crucial part in creating a safe and successful Moon base.
