McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center Named Nonprofit Business of the Year in the 2026 Pinnacle Awards

We are honored and humbled to share that the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center has been named the 2026 Nonprofit Business of the Year by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce as part of its annual Pinnacle Awards.

The Greater Concord Chamber's Nonprofit Business of the Year award recognizes an organization that demonstrates innovation in carrying out its mission. Each year, recipients are selected by a committee of previous award honorees for their impact on the greater Concord community and their commitment to service. This year's recognition places the Discovery Center among an incredible group of organizations that have helped shape and strengthen our region through their work. The Chamber noted that the award honors "an exemplary nonprofit member that demonstrates innovation in carrying out their mission."

Whether it's welcoming a child's first school field trip to the planetarium, hosting STEM summer camps, creating opportunities through scholarships, celebrating the legacy of Christa McAuliffe, or bringing families together under the stars, every experience is designed to spark imagination and encourage lifelong learning.

Thank you to the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce for this incredible honor, and congratulations to all of this year's Pinnacle Award recipients.

Together, we're reaching for the stars.
