Then apply to coordinate the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center’s Education Team. As our Education Coordinator, you will work with our Director of Education and independently, to develop and present a wide variety of programs, exhibits and planetarium shows, on- and off-site; and train, lead, coordinate and support the efforts of our education staff and volunteers.

Learning doesn’t always happen 9 to 5! Your job will include working days, nights, weekends, some overnights with youth groups, and traveling in Northern and Central New England for outreach programs. There will also be some heavy lifting involved, as you help unpack crates and mount exhibits, set up for programs and transport our portable planetarium and telescopes.

The starting pay for this full-time position is $15/hour.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, detail-oriented person to join our team as Membership & Volunteer Coordinator. You will get to know our dedicated volunteers and members, and will have the opportunity to build our Membership and Volunteer Programs as we enter our second five years as a nonprofit air and space museum, inspired by NH Space Pioneers Christa McAuliffe and Alan Shepard.

Do you have a background in membership or volunteer coordination and database management? Do you have great communication skills? Do you enjoy challenges and working with the public? Then please apply to join a team dedicated to creating a great science museum experience every day!

This full-time position requires a Bachelor’s Degree; it involves occasional night and weekend work. Pay range is $15-16 per hour, depending on experience. Send your cover letter and resume to:
