As part of the celebrations, NASA just released the never-before-seen Hubble image.
From hubblesite.org: In this Hubble portrait, the giant red nebula (NGC 2014) and its smaller blue neighbor (NGC 2020) are part of a vast star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, located 163,000 light-years away. The image is nicknamed the "Cosmic Reef," because the nebulas resemble an undersea world.
The Discovery Center was selected by the Space Telescope Science Institute as one of the sites to host this special event and unveil the never-before-seen image. When we reopen to the public, we will have an oversize banner of this image on display in the museum—be sure to check it out!
