About The Classes

Join us for an out-of-this-world homeschool adventure! Activities are designed to be active, hands-on, open-ended explorations that require creative, out-of-the-box thinking—the kind of thinking that has always fueled the imaginations of scientists, artists, makers, mathematicians, and creators.

Classes meet twice a month on the first and third Mondays, with the option of two sessions for each class.

The first session is from 10:00 - 11:00 AM and the second is from 12:30 - 1:30 PM.

Families can sign up for either class, and your student’s meeting time will be the same for all classes.

Be aware that to best serve our students, each class has a capacity of 15 students.

The spring semester of Level 1 (AM & PM) is currently sold out. All other levels and times still have space to accommodate registration.

Cost & Payment

Students can register for one or both semesters. The registration fee, $115 per semester, is due at the time of sign-up. Discovery Center members receive a 10% discount.

Payment can be made at the front desk during operating hours.

We also accept payment by card over the phone or at the front desk.

Add A Planetarium Show

After the first class of the month, there will be the option to add a planetarium show to the day.

Tickets to the show are $7 per person and are free for members and children ages 2 and under.

Each month will feature a show related to that month’s topics, with two showtimes available.

The first show will start at 11:15 AM and the second at 1:45 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk during homeschool session days.
