2022 Alex Higgins Memorial Space Camp Scholarship

Do you know a New Hampshire student ages 9-18 who loves space? The 2022 Alex Higgins Memorial Space Camp Scholarship will send three more applicants to Space Camp in Huntsville, AL! This scholarship includes tuition, room, & board- travel expenses to Huntsville are not included.

The scholarship is a combined effort among Alex Higgins’ family, the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to honor Alex’s memory. Space Camp provides the opportunity for children and teens to engage in a science and engineering adventure that Alex Higgins truly enjoyed.

The application includes essays, transcripts, and letters of recommendation- a copy can be found here. Completed applications are due Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022.
