Coming Soon: Virtual Super Stellar Friday and Computer Programming

In this day and age, the question is not whether or not you use computers, but rather whether you tell computers what to do, or computers tell you what to do. Dave McDonald will instruct you in an easy to learn, but powerful programming language called Scratch. Developed by M.I.T. it is very visual and logically oriented. Learn to make colorful and interactive avatars that you can program to entertain you or your friends with games or just dance around. If you prefer, you can solve a quadratic equation or determine the probability of an event happening. Dave will show you resources so you can learn even more on your own time and learn to program rather than always being programmed. This program is suitable for 4th graders and up. Join the fun Friday, December 3rd at 7 pm- register here.
