Checking In on Week 1 of Our Virtual STEM Summer Camps

We’re mid-way through Week 1 of our Virtual STEM Summer Camps, and interns and campers alike are having tons of fun Discovering the Dinosaurs! So far this week, the crew has learned about when and where dinosaurs lived, what we know about their behavior and physical features, and how paleontology works. Hands-on activities have included a DIY dino sorting game, excavating “fossils” from home, creating fossil casts, a make-it-yourself pterodactyl puppet, and lots of arts, crafts, and group games…We’re happy to report smiles all around! See this slide show for a glimpse at the first half of Week 1.

And don’t forget—if you have learners ages 5 to 14 who are looking for the perfect fun & educational summer engagement, registration is still open for the remaining six weeks of camp! See here for details.
