Planetarium Show: Perseus & Andromeda

Our Planetarium Theater misses being filled with school children and families! While it remains idle, the Discovery Center staff still wants to bring these magical shows to you! Although you won’t being seeing them on a Full-dome, digital Sky-Skan Definiti theater, we still hope these shows will spark your imagination and get you excited about STEM, space and aviation.

We will be posting a new planetarium show weekly. So make sure to continue to check our website for updates. This week, follow the tale of Perseus and Andromeda. Unlike the planetarium theater, grab some popcorn and a drink, sit back, and enjoy the show!

This planetarium show is a fun-filled retelling of the tale of the beautiful but unfortunate princess Andromeda, who in divine punishment for her mother’s bragging, is sacrificed to a sea monster and rescued by the Greek hero Perseus. Recommended Ages 4-8/ All Audiences

A huge thank you to Audio Visual Imagineering for sharing these planetarium shows with the Discovery Center during these unprecedented times.
