Special Hours for High-Risk and Seniors

The Discovery Center will begin to offer special hours for seniors and high-risk groups on Friday mornings. We will reserve 9:00AM - 10:00AM for at-risk groups to explore our exhibits and galleries and then see a planetarium show at 10:30AM, all before our opening hours to the general public!

The pandemic has impacted daily life, and all of us at the Discovery Center understand that visiting a museum has become more difficult. We hope that these special hours will give you peace of mind while visiting us.

Since the initial shut down, the Discovery Center has implemented a rigorous cleaning schedule. The exhibits and galleries are cleaned every two hours, we are cleaned professionally each night, and disinfect our planetarium seats after every show. We also offer wipes and hand sanitizer at all our touch exhibits for visitor use.

Reservations will be required. Please email snappo@starhop.com to reserve your spot. Payment upon reservation. Limited number of spots.
