Age: 5-7 years
Cost: $155; $140 for each additional child from the same immediate family

Prepare for launch as you learn the basics of aerodynamics, flight and even rocket design. Test out your design ideas by building kites, paper airplanes, balsa gliders, air-powered rockets, and more. We’ll even explore how different conditions affect flight by launching our flyers inside and out. Family and friends are invited to join for fun-filled fly-in on the last day.

Robots!

Age: 10 -14 years
Cost: $295; $270 for each additional child from same immediate family

Explore the world of coding and programming using LEGO Mindstorms. Discover how robots are programmed to do things on their own in remote locations and how scientists send commands to them when exploring planets and moons. Complete fun daily challenges that will put your knowledge to the test. This camp is an introduction to computer coding and programming and its application to robotic space missions. Families invited to the grand finale robot races.

3-2-1 Blast Off!
Date: July 24 - July 28

Rocket your way to the stars with a summer camp that brings out the engineer in all of us. Build and modify different types of rockets each day including model rockets, water rockets, air rockets, and more. How high and far can you make your rocket go? Invite your family to the big blast off on the last day of camp.

Suns and Stars

Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Age: 8-12 years
Cost: $295; $270 for each additional child from same immediate family

Get ready for this year's solar eclipse--become an expert on heliophysics with us. What is our star made of? How can you observe it safely? Are there others like it? Learn all this and then become a true star as you share you newly learned expertise with family, friends and visitors, by presenting activities in our exhibit galleries.

Destination: Earth
Date: August 7 - August 11
Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Age: 10-14 years
Cost: $295; $270 for each additional child from same immediate family

Earth is a perfect habitat for humans: air to breathe, water to drink and food to eat. Has it always been this way? Will it continue to be? Immerse yourself in the geology, atmospheric science and water chemistry of Earth, before tackling the ultimate challenge: designing a habitat to live on Mars.
